Raincyst is harvested from Bohai sea or salt ponds and processed with high quality control standard. The cysts provide the finest, nutritious nauplii for shrimp and fish larvae. Contains herbal extracts that reduce the presence of Vibrio and bacterial bloom in the hatching medium.

Hatching Conditions

--Temperature:  8-30 or 80-82F

-- Salinity:     20-35ppt

-- Specific gravity:  1.01-1.0

--PH:           7.5-8.5

--Aeration:    Consistant aeration to keep cysts in suspension

                Avoid over circulation-may damage cysts and nauplii

Hatching Instructions

Prepare hatching solution from non-iodized salt or clean seawater to 20-35ppt

Incubate and aerate cysts up to 2 grams per liter in a conical shaped container

Provide hatching tank with natural of artificial light and maintain constant temperature of 82F (28) for optimum hatching

Hatching time, approximately 18-24 hours

To harvest, stop aeration and wait 10-15 minutes before siphoning fresh nauplii into a fine mesh.

Rinse with fresh water before feeding

Storage Conditions

Refrigerated (between 0 and 5) for up to 24 months.

For long term storage, keep frozen at ( 0)-17 or below.

Note: Acclimate cysts at room temperature for at least 24 hours before hatching.
